Why so angry Jak Dog?
Despite Jak's apparent discontent at this moment, Early Christmas at Three Tree was wonderful! Like Jennifer and Matt, Gramma also refused to turn the lights on for some reason. However, no light is necessary at Early Christmas when you have candles, fire, and Hank cooking on the BBQ!
I had a wonderful time chasing Jak on the beach and around the house--I think she enjoyed it too. And I got fabulous presents, cookies, compressed rawhide, a Christmas bowl, and a rope/ball toy! I love Early Christmas. I hope to see everyone again soon!

Blackout!

For some reason Jennifer and Matt refused to turn on the lights for five days and five nights. It also got very cold in the house. I don't understand why they didn't turn the lights on (none of us could see!) or the heat on (we were all wearing our jackets in the house!). But Auntie Rebecca turned the lights and heat on for us so we all stayed at her house for a couple days. It was lovely. See how I got to lay on the bed and fluffy sleeping bags? It was great. We also went to a hotel--there is lots to sniff in hotels! It was great. But now Jennifer and Matt have turned the lights and heat back on so all is well at home again.

I get to eat reindeer!

Some call it venison but I think it is the season to eat reindeer! Apparently I might have an allergy to chicken and rice so now I get to eat reindeer and potatoes. Yum. Jennifer is a little sad because she really likes reindeer and regulardeer, and I do too, but I don't want any more ear infections and maybe eating reindeer will help.

I'm 7!

I turned seven yesterday. Jennifer and Matt kept saying "happy first birthday blah blah blah" but I am not one; I am seven! I am a dog so any reasonable observer would understand that I am indeed seven, not one. And since I am seven, why didn't they celebrate my first six birthdays? Why is seven so important? I want the first six parties I missed!

Despite the missing first six birthdays, my seventh birthday was very good. I got lots of treats and these lovely presents. My jacket is a rain jacket and it has lights! It is very very dark and rainy here in Olympia so I am excited. I am also excited to celebrate seven birthdays in the the next year, hear that Jennifer and Matt? Seven!

I love Lucy!

This is my friend Lucy. She lives in a house with stairs! Stairs are awesome! I chased Lucy up and down and up and down the stairs. She is fast. She really wanted me to chase her around the table, but I prefer the stairs. She invited her boyfriend Sammie over but he is much too fast and Jennifer could not capture him on film. But the three of us had a grand time.

Oh. Is this not ok?
