As you have probably noticed I'm quite a bit bigger now, but don't forget I am still a cute puppy. Some of my new skills I've learned since we talked last are sit, come, and the ability to eat what's in my food dish in under a minute. I must say that fetch is going much better now too. I will always love my rocks but I have also added tennis balls, sticks, and my toy duck on the list of items I will retrieve for you. All I require is the occasional treat and lots of love.
Gotta shout out to Hana and Winnie for letting me come play with them this past weekend. Sorry I kept biting your tail Winnie, I thought it was mine.
Also Lucy sent me an awesome book about places to go all over the Pacific Northwest. Thanks so Much.
See ya later,

Take me to the park, please!!

Sorry I've been away so long. The past week I have been preparing to go to the vet and have my second round of shots, ouch. It was made clear to me by Matt and Jennifer that I would be able to check out some parks and perhaps go to the beach after this tramatic trip to the vet, but this was not true. I don't totally hold them responsible for this even though I've got some major cabin fever goin' on down here. I know it's for my own good on account I don't wanna catch any puppy diseases, but I can't deny the urge to jump and play at the beach. So for the next month I have to stick around the house and go for walks on the pavement.
You other dogs out there shouldn't take your trips to the park for granted. Don't forget about us that are stuck at home. I'll see you at the beach in 5 weeks.

Yo amo el sol

It finally stopped raining and the sun is out. I love it!! I like to go out as much as I can because I found a new game called chewin' rocks. Who needs a chew toy or rawhide when there are tons of plain ol' rocks lying around. The trick is to keep it in your mouth a while and get it real nice and slobbery. Then drop it at Matt or Jennifer's feet and wait for them to throw it. After that I run after it as fast as I can and bring it back. Sticks work too but I prefer rocks. Matt tries to throw a tennis ball for me to chase but I just give him a look and wait for my rock. God love him, he really tries, but I just want my rock. That's all for now, I'm gonna scratch at the door so I can go outside and chew some rocks.

Later,
Charley

I face a difficult dilemma this Super Bowl Sunday and I think this photo captures my struggle. Do I set aside my devotion to our beloved Broncos to root for the home town Seahawks or do I cheer for the AFC Steelers. Since the Hawks are no longer division rivals with Denver I would say it's okay to root for Seattle. On the hand, I could take the feel good story of Jerome Bettis and the Pittsburgh.
For today only !GO SEAHAWKS! Posted by Picasa

Get me outta Oly!!

Hey Everybody
Jennifer has regrettably informed me that KEXP has cut the signal for the South Puget Sound region. First off, let me apologize to all of you who came here today expecting some cute photo of me doing funny puppy things. The folks that know me realize how much I love rockabilly and boogie rhythm and blues. Without Shake The Shack on Friday nights I'm afraid I'll lose my little puppy mind. Matt's CD and record collection won't cut it and he's let me know how much of a pain in the ass it is to hook the computer up to his stereo to stream it. Unfortunately I lack the opposable thumbs needed to mount a letter writing campaign to get the signal back in Olympia so I guess all I can do is wait until we move to Seattle, which I hear is lovely. That's all for today, hopefully tomorrow I'll be feeling better.
Also I would like to give a shout out to Wizard, Raven, and Bruce for giving me the nickname
"C-Dog".
Peace Out!

Que pasa todo el mundo?

My first week home has been swell so far. I'm getting more comfortable being in my crate now. With Matt being home most of the day and Jennifer keeping me busy in the evening it doesn't leave me a lot of time to get into mischief, which is kind of a bummer. Sometimes I like to sneak off when they're looking the other way and leave them little gifts, if you know what I mean. Hey, you gotta keep 'em honest, right? Also, to all those other puppies out there; if you're not getting enough attention go for their feet and don't let go until they pick you up and hold you close. Okay gotta go. I'm back off to my crate so Matt can work on his Philosophy mid-term.
